Why Do You Keep Saying That You Are
Under No Obligation To Put Up My Picture?

Lets talk about Death and Taxes. Death is inevitable, I think that is all that needs to be said about that. Plus, one other thing, I probably will not be taking the donations I get with "My One Million Friends" with me, when I go.

Now Taxes, well that is a real sticky subject, most of the time it is inevitable, but without a good tax attorney plus a great tax accountant, and a thorough life long education studying the tax codes, no one could even guess when or if the inevitable will rear its ugly head and bite you in the keester.

First of all, you need to swear on your great-grandmother's grave, that you will not take my advice regarding taxes at all, because I am not a certified, qualified, quantified, justified, credentialized, registered, documented, licensed or professional anything regarding taxes.

With that being said, the reason I do "NOT" make any promises or guarantees of anything in return to you, for the gift you send, is because then it wouldn't be a gift, it would be the sale of a service to you. If I was selling a service to you then the gift you send wouldn't be a gift and it would be subject to Taxes.

Here is something that I found, written on an IRS Tax Website:

The person who receives your gift does not have to report the gift to the IRS or pay gift or income tax on its value. Gifts include money and property, including the use of property without expecting to receive something of equal value in return.

Now, the IRS Publication #950, basically says, that you can give me, at the present time, up to $12,000, without worrying about a Gift Tax (for the USA). If anyone feels that they would like to give more, we could discuss it with a tax consultant over a cup of tea.

So to keep everything on the up and up, I must make it clear to you, that I am not going to guarantee to you, or promise you, in any way shape or form, that I will absolutely put your picture or your URL on my website or in fact do anything for you at all, should you send me a gift, so you shouldn't expect anything in return.

I must continually clarify that you are not promised anything for sending me your gift or donation.

Now as one friend to another, I hope, with my last dying breath if necessary, attempt, within and even beyond all human endurance, to put your image or URL up on "My One Million Friends" if you send me a Gift.

Of Course, I am Not making any promises.
